ϟYin and Yang Chakra

There are five basic chakra elements; Water, Fire, Wind, Lightning, and Earth. However, there are also two types of chakra that are often overlooked: Yin chakra and Yang chakra.

[[NOTE: Your character does not have to have Yin and Yang as trained chakra natures to be able to use jutsu that need them. They are assumed to be trained in controlling these two kinds of chakra in the Ninja Academy. Because of this, Yin and Yang Chakra will not be listed on a Jutsu's Elements.]]



Yin Chakra: Yin chakra is responsible for materializing imagination. Jutsus which use Yin chakra focus on extending your own chakra to your opponent and connecting your mind (ex. implanting an illusion) to theirs. Whether it’s to implant an illusion, read their mind, or project thoughts, these jutsu utilize Yin chakra.

Yang Chakra: Yang chakra is the energy that governs vitality and physical presence. Jutsus which use Yang chakra focus on transforming already existing mass or bring mass into an otherwise empty space. Whether it alters the body or bringing mass into form, these jutsu utilize Yang chakra.
